LeaseBloc is a business tool for commercial real estate expansion; we collect information in a business context, we serve users in the United States, and **we do not sell or share personal information** for advertising. ## 1. Information we collect - **Account and contact details:** your email address, name, role, and the organization you belong to. This notice, at the point of collection, covers all categories described here. - **Deal content:** the information you and your collaborators put into the product, such as deal trackers, sites and property addresses, territories, criteria, documents and letters of intent, photos, links, comments, and reviews. - **Usage data:** application logs and basic device and browser information generated as you use the service, used for security and product improvement. - **Cookies:** strictly-necessary cookies only, used to keep you signed in (authentication session). We use **no advertising or third-party tracking cookies**, so we do not show a cookie banner. - **Acceptance records:** when you accept an agreement in the app, we record the acceptance with your account, timestamp, IP address, and browser metadata, as evidence of consent. ## 2. How we use information - To provide and operate the service, including the collaboration features that are its purpose. - To secure the service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot problems. - To communicate with you: transactional email such as invitations, notifications, and beta program updates. - To improve the product, including analyzing usage patterns and acting on feedback you submit. **We do not train models on the identifiable contents of your documents (including letters of intent); any document-derived product development uses only content from which identifying information has first been removed (see Section 3).** We do not use your information for third-party advertising, and we do not sell it. ## 3. De-identified data We may create de-identified and aggregated data from activity in the Service to operate, secure, analyze, and improve the product and to develop benchmarks and analytics. We take reasonable measures to ensure this data cannot be associated with any individual, business, or specific transaction; **we publicly commit to maintain and use it only in de-identified form, not to attempt to re-identify it, and to require anyone we share it with to do the same and to impose the same obligation on any onward transfer.** De-identified and aggregated data is not personal information, and this Section governs how we may use and share it. ## 4. How we share information - **With your collaborators.** LeaseBloc is a shared system of record: content you put on a shared deal tracker is visible to that deal's other collaborators according to their role (see Section 5). - **With service providers** that host and operate the service on our behalf: **Supabase** (database, authentication, file storage), **Vercel** (web hosting), **Fly.io** (application compute), **Resend** (transactional email), and **Autodesk Platform Services** (viewing of uploaded CAD/DWG files). Each processes data only to provide its service to us. - **Mapping and address search.** The product uses **Google Maps** in your browser to display maps and suggest addresses; your use of those features is subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We do not send your deal content to Google from our servers. - **De-identified and aggregated data** may be shared or published as described in Section 3. - **For legal and safety reasons:** when required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of LeaseBloc, our users, or others. - **In a business transfer:** if LeaseBloc is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy. We do **not** sell personal information, and we do **not** share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. ## 5. Data on shared deal trackers A deal tracker is a shared workspace. The brand, brokers, franchisee, and any other collaborators invited to a deal tracker can see its shared content (sites, stages, documents, comments, and reviews) according to their role. Organization-level oversight roles may also have visibility consistent with the product's access model. **Do not post information to a shared deal tracker that you are not prepared to share with its other collaborators.** If you leave a deal or organization, content you contributed to shared workspaces remains part of those records. ## 6. Retention - **Consent and acceptance records** (including the IP address and browser metadata captured at acceptance): retained indefinitely, to prove agreement. - **Application logs:** 90 days. - **Support correspondence:** 2 years. - **Your data after account or beta termination:** deleted or de-identified within 90 days, except where law requires longer or where content remains part of another party's shared deal records (Section 5). - **Billing records:** 7 years, when billing exists (the beta is free; we collect no payment information today). ## 7. Security We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access to production systems, and use role-based access controls inside the product. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify affected users of a breach as required by law. ## 8. Your rights and choices You may request **access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of** your personal information by emailing **support@leasebloc.com**. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time. Deletion is subject to the retention rules in Section 6, including content that remains part of other parties' shared deal records. **California residents:** the categories of personal information we collect are listed in Section 1; we collect them for the purposes in Section 2; we do **not sell or share** personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA; and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights. You may exercise your access, deletion, and correction rights via support@leasebloc.com. ## 9. Children LeaseBloc is a business service. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. ## 10. Changes to this policy We may update this policy as the product evolves. Each version is dated and content-addressed; material changes will be communicated in the app or by email, and where required, we will ask for fresh acknowledgment.
